Michelle van Dyk graduated from the University Of Pretoria in 2018 and started her physiotherapy career in KwaZulu Natal at Stanger hospital where she was part of a team serving paediatrics, orthopaedic and internal medicine departments at the hospital. Thereafter she continued her journey in private practice at the Gateway Hospital in Umhlanga in 2020 and 2021 working with predominantly orthopaedic and ICU patients. In 2022 Michelle set out on her biggest journey yet, establishing her own practice in the hustle and bustle of the North coast town in Ballito. Michelle completed various courses of which dry needling level 1 and 2 are worth mentioning. An enthusiastic and dedicated Physiotherapist Michelle, consistently aims to enact positive change in the lives of her patients.

Holding the view that ‘successful rehabilitation relies on setting and working towards mutual goals with the patient’, Michelle strives to rehabilitate patients to their highest possible function; communicating clearly and compassionately, yet firmly, with each individual patient, as needed. Her personal experience in working with a Physiotherapist as a young sports woman, affords her a unique and direct awareness of the patient’s position within the process.
